End of School Year 2021 Message

June 8, 2021

St. Croix Prep Community,

Wow – what a year! I am not sure there are words to describe the experiences and feelings associated with the school year of 2020-2021. Who would have known that the uncertainty and unpredictability of last school year would continue through all of this year. WE MADE IT! Congratulations to all of you!
The last year has again emphasized the partnership we have with each and every one of you. We are grateful for you! We know the different learning models, transitions, masks, quarantines, and ever-changing guidance placed an enormous amount of pressure upon you, your children, your families, and your work schedules. We know this caused anxiety, frustration, sadness, and even anger as everyone has attempted to navigate each day. Our “THANK YOU” is spoken with heartfelt conviction. We have always said “We can’t do this without you.” These words have new meaning and we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge your effort, sacrifice, and perseverance. We are grateful for you!
As we close out this school year, we are already beginning to plan for the fall start – five days a week, in-person, for all students K-12. We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces next year . . . but only after you enjoy your summer. May it be filled with rest, rejuvenation, and good health.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
