  • Meals will include lunch as well as breakfast items for the following week. Meals will only be provided for scheduled school days. Meals will not be provided on holidays or scheduled days off.
  • Meals will be distributed on a first come/first served basis, with preference to those families that pre-register.
  • Cut off time for requesting meals for the following week is 7:00 am on Thursday.
  • Students in the DISTANCE learning model will receive 5 days of meals. Students in the HYBRID learning model will receive 3 days of meals.

A Message From the Health Office

From the Nurse – COVID Update
We are all COVID weary.

  • COVID is hard.
  • Isolation because you have symptoms associated with COVID is hard.
  • Quarantine because you are a sibling or household member of someone with symptoms associated with COVID is hard.
  • Being in quarantine because you are a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID is hard.
Here at Prep our goal is that no one gets the virus. A lofty goal for sure but that is why we are being so diligent in following the MDH COVID Decision Tree.
Quarantine is not a punishment; it is protection for classmates and neighbors. It is another effort to stop transmission before we even know that a close contact is positive so that we can stop outbreaks before they can even happen.
The hardest symptom right now, because of allergy season, is runny nose or congestion. When it says “new onset” on the COVID-19 Decision Tree from MDH it is referencing if this is the first time the person has experienced this symptom this season or in recent weeks. So many COVID symptoms overlap we need to consider the possibility that it could be COVID infection rather than assuming it is allergies. If it is new (first time this season) or worsening, an evaluation by a healthcare provider needs to be considered. Again, not a punishment but a protection for others.
Thank you Prep Community for helping us keep everyone healthy and safe!

These are tools you can use but please continue to report any symptoms associated with COVID to the nurse. Thank you!
