Upper School Theatre

Program Description

The Upper School Theatre program stages a production each Winter (usually the end of February). Productions alternate between musicals (even years) and full length straight plays (odd years). Auditions are in early Dec and open to all 9th through 12th graders. Students can also join the tech crew and help build sets, props, and costumes. Musicals also include a full student pit orchestra. Advanced students also have the opportunity to take on leadership roles such as set/costume/light designer or assistant director for both the Upper School and Middle School productions.

January 23, 2026

The school building, including administrative offices, will be closed. ALL before and after school (including evening) activity practices are canceled and there will be no YMCA YCare.
Tomorrow will be an E-Learning Day for students. Instructions and attendance expectations regarding E-Learning Days will be communicated by each division and/or classroom. The boys basketball games starting at 4:45 pm tomorrow WILL be held as scheduled.
Classes will resume on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Please note: all after school activities TODAY, Thursday, January 22 will remain on as scheduled.
