Starting Monday, September 21 Parent Pick Up Line Change – Last Name Starting with L Will Shift to First Half of Alphabet

To better balance our parent pick up lines, starting on Monday, September 21, families with last names that begin with L will shift to the first half of the alphabet. So, the inside pick up line will now be A-L and the outer line will be M-Z. Click here for an updated map.

We have been counting cars and observing daily activity and there are slightly more in the second half of the pick up line than the first so we are making this adjustment.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make the pick up process as efficient and smooth as possible.

Bus Evacuation Drills September 21-25 May Delay Bus Routes

Stillwater Bus Transportation will be holding bus evacuation drills for all buses the the week of September 21-25. Bus evacuations may delay the second tier (including Prep) bus routes by 15-20 minutes, depending on student participation. The bus garage and transportation will communicate through the MyRide App on these days for students on the second tier of the delay due to bus evacuations.

The bus evacuation drill for St. Croix Prep students will take place on Friday, September 25. Click here to read the procedures taught during the bus evacuation drill.

Service Club Book Drive – September 14-30

Service Club leaders will be ready to pick up your books at the parent drop-off lane. There will also be donation boxes in the Atrium and in the Upper School office.

St. Croix Prep Foundation

The St. Croix Prep Foundation awards Prep Fund Teacher Grants twice each year, in the spring and fall. Between the grants issued last spring and this first-ever fall grant cycle, the Prep Foundation has awarded $17,875 in teacher grants — all made possible through gifts to the Prep Fund.

This fall, we are excited to award $12,105 in Prep Fund Teacher Grants supporting projects across our school community. These grants reflect the creativity of our faculty and staff and their commitment to finding meaningful ways to support students, strengthen curriculum, and bring learning to life.

This fall’s funded projects include:

  • Middle school hydroponics station to explore food production and classroom growing
  • New rugs for the lower school music room
  • Clay and glaze for middle and upper school art
  • Grammar and writing curriculum for 8th grade
  • Life Science dissection specimens to deepen science learning
  • Science safety equipment and incubator for hands-on laboratory experiments
  • Modern maps for Human Geography
  • EEG headbands for interactive neuroscience research
  • Prep Families Angel Fund to assist families with school-related fees
  • Sensory tools to support student learning

Thank you for investing in our teachers, our students, and the experiences that make St. Croix Prep special. We look forward to seeing these fall projects come to life and to what our teachers will dream up next for the spring grant cycle.
